About Carie ~ It’s Story time! 

Professional Makeup Artist & Photo Stylist Carie Pytynia Webb (CPW) has been in the industry for over 27 years.

Starting out as an artist, and merchandise window display dresser for two boutiques in her hometown outside of Chicago…
Carie then moved to California and ended up falling into her dream job shortly afterwards. 💫

This was thanks to a privately owned beauty salon in La Jolla who believed in Carie and sent her to train in Beverly Hills in make up artistry for a division of Revlon.
This included training in customized color blending for their makeup products known as “Visage Beaute”. In short, Carie not only found that artistic dream job but was now “living it”.  At 27 yrs old, Carie moved to Paris for one year and later to London for 11 years where she worked in both the fashion and modeling industry while raising her children along the way. 

Carie is currently based in between LA and San Diego, continuing to work for resorts and advertising campaigns.

This includes helping people at all stages of their lives feel more at ease and confident in front of the camera as well: from cancer survivors, to City Mayors, Bride’s, Actors, Authors, Congressional Candidates, and Models, to athletes and dancers for commercials, editorial, runway, print, video & TV.

Carie’s signature style is a no make up look with a classic yet modern approach.

Carie believes: “Timeless and natural is one of my favorite looks to create, drawing out each individual’s best features so they can see the beauty in themselves that the rest of us can see.”
